Juvederm and Restylane

Many women in their thirties and later years want to enhance their facial appearance. Some of these women do not want to undergo a traditional facelift to get the youthful results they desire. For women who wish to reduce the signs of aging and minimize facial wrinkles, folds, and creases, there are facial fillers. Facial fillers are a cosmetic surgery treatment for facial rejuvenation that are non-invasive.

Washington, D.C. cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Desman provides his patients with hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane to enhance his patients natural beauty. Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the skin and connective tissue. It is a non-animal based substance that reduces the signs of aging and rejuvenates the skin by providing elasticity and fullness.

Juvederm and Restylane can be used separately or in conjunction with other facial fillers to either target portions of the face or the entire face. Juvederm and Restylane are used in a facial rejuvenation treatment called liquid facelift. Both Juvederm and Restylane are safe for use alone or with other facial fillers for a dramatically enhanced appearance.

Restylane can be used to treat:

  • The folds around your nose
  • The fine lines around your mouth
  • The crows feet near the eyes

Juvederm can be used to treat:

  • Facial wrinkles above your lips
  • Wrinkles and folds around the corners of your mouth
  • Smile lines around your nose and mouth
