A facelift is a surgical procedure that tightens your skin, trims excess facial fat, and leaves you with a more natural, youthful appearance. Facelift surgery typically takes anywhere from two to six hours to perform, depending on your individual needs. The procedure is usually performed under general and local anesthesia. During the procedure itself, your skin will be tightened and excess skin and fat will be removed to restore a youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
