You’ll also be sent home with any medications needed, including antibiotics and painkillers if needed. When you first get home, and the anesthesia has fully worn off, you may experience some pain, but this will dissipate soon.
You might need to wear the compression garment for up to a month, but you will likely be able to resume normal activities within fourteen days. Your return to work can usually occur within a week of surgery. The results of your liposuction procedure should be apparent within a few months.
