VASER Liposelection Now Available
I am pleased to announce the addition of VASER liposelection to the practice. This technique is a form of ultrasonic liposuction. What distinguishes VASER is its ability to differentiate the targeted fat from other important tissues, like nerves, blood vessels, etc.
The VASER probes emulsify (liquefy) the fat while ti is still in your body, preserving the nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. The next part of the procedure removes the liquefied fat with minimal trauma to the surrounding tissues. This allows for a faster recovery with less pain and bruising compared to traditional methods.
In contrast, traditional liposuction removes unwanted fat via avulsion (forceful tearing), causing your body more trauma. The tools used in traditional liposuction cannot differentiate between fat, nerves, and blood vessels, thus removing other important tissues along with the fat, which can ultimately lead to a longer and more uncomfortable recovery process.
